* Walker, Patric (1931-1995).
Mega-popular American-born English Sun-sign columnist who began writing under the name "Celeste" -- the pseudonym of his female predecessor at Queen (later Harpers & Queen). Isn't that all just camp enough?! Not exactly last and certainly not least on this list, Walker was however never out publicly but my gaydar went off while reading his obituary in The Times which mentioned rather coyly that he lived out the last years of his life mostly on a Greek isle, that he had "a relationship with a US television actor" and that he "remained a bachelor." Natally, he had Saturn opposing Pluto in his 8th house, explaining that he was a "private man" who was secretive about his sexuality, while his hyped-up Sagittarian Ascendant and expansive Neptune on his midheaven explain his astoundingly enormous audience of over a billion readers. While it would be easy to jump to the conclusion that he remained in the closet because of the age and class he grew up in, the simple fact is that some others in the same boat were always openly as camp as a row of tents. Walker detested the idea of "destiny" yet ironically it is likely that it was his very Stars (particularly his Pluto & Saturn by aspect and house position) that held a big influence over his closetedness! (Visit his Memorial).

* Webb, Nella. (1893?-1996?)
Lesbian American psychic, vaudeville entertainer & 'astrologer to Hollywood' (broadcasting as Miss Nella Webb in the USA from 11 May, 1935).
