Christopher Weidner is a professional published astrologer who hosts a school/website
and has written many books on Astrology. Although Uranus (the planet
associated with Astrology) is not personalized in his chart through
aspects to (or disposition) of the luminaries (or placement on a chart angle),
his Uranus at 24° Virgo exactly squares the 24 Gemini degree where Uranus was
discovered. This Uranian point is also located in his 11th House which is associated with
Astrologers. Note that Pluto/Uranus and Chiron/Saturn which are in opposition make a
tight T-Square with the 24° Gemini point while Neptune quincunxes this degree.
This helps explain Christopher's interest in these Transpersonal planets and the
subject of his "transpersonale astrologie" articles on Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
These articles were published in respected German Astrology
journal, Meridian, in 2000-2001 as progressed
Uranus at 27° Libra T-Squared his rising Jupiter (planet of publications) and
Venus (ruler of his MidHeaven of public recognition). (Please note I use Solar Arc progressions,
thereby advancing each planet or point by one degree for every year that has passed since
the subject's birth)...
With that Jupiter (the mind-opening & multi-cultural planet) placed prominently on his
Ascendant in Leo and disposited by the Sun in Capricorn (the sign associated with career) in his
6th House (of study), Christopher had already completed many career-advancing studies
before the publication of these articles.
With the Moon (the luminary associated with the past) on the base of his chart in its
natural domain of the 4th House (of earlier times), he has studied Medieval History.
The Moon ruling his 12th House of imaginings (and fabulous Neptune
in the 4th) in Scorpio also indicates his intense preoccupation with Ancient Mythology,
particularly pre-modern Greek, Roman, Celt and German legends and fairy-tales.
Since 1983 (when he was only 16), Christopher has studied
Astrology, the Tarot and the Kabbalah (as progressed symbol-decipherer Chiron crossed his 9th House cusp).
From 1992 (when progressed MC-ruler Mars conjunct his natal Moon in 4th), he has learnt
the Eastern philosophies of Taoism and Feng Shui. From 1992 to 1994 (as progressed
Uranus quincunxed his natal Chiron in Pisces),
Christopher joined Michael Roscher and Brigitte
Hamann's School for Transpersonal
Astrology in Nürnberg.
And from 1994 he has worked as a free lance author and advisory "Astroastrologer,"
opening his "Phoenix Astrologie" school in 1996 with courses and seminars
for both beginners and advanced students (as his progressed
Pluto exactly conjunct his IC at 19° Libra & progressed Moon
at 1° Sagittarius trined his natal rising Jupiter).
At age 30 (in 1997), Christopher's progressed Mercury (ruler of his 11th House
of Astrology) exactly conjunct his Descendent at 7° Aquarius, while his
progressed Uranus at 24° Libra trined the 24° Gemini Uranian point in his 11th House.
This explains his establishment of a school
(& website) through which he
could relate to others through Astrology (and relate through Astrology to others!)
during the late 1990s. In 1998 he opened a center for Applied Astrology in Munich where he
hosted regular meetings on different topics. Since 1999, he has lectured at the school
on the subject of Transpersonal Astrology under the direction of Michael Roscher.
Christopher's queer Astrology article, "The Icarus Effect (The Variety of Sexual Lifestyles in the
Horoscope)" (

2000,
German version, 1998) also appeared under these
major progressions. His conclusions mainly seem to express the progression
of category-dissolving and polymorphous Neptune (the ruler of his 8th House of
psycho-sexuality) to 24 degrees of freedom-loving
Sagittarius in his 5th House of sexual expression (where it opposed the Uranus discovery
degree of 24° Gemini!):
When we understand that "sexuality at the deepest level is
not something which power fears, but much more is something through which it achieves its aims" [Michel Foucault] we shall
perhaps also understand that we can escape the incessant sexualization of our beings by the "sex police" as we
begin to see in the polymorphism of the sexes an expression of human freedom. Perhaps this is the form the
transition from Saturn through Uranus to Neptune takes; when sexual categories no longer mean anything to us;
when we must come to terms with other categories and finally realize that more people surround us than men,
women, homo- or heterosexuals. (Weidner,
"The Icarus Effect")
