"Kat Duff moved to Austin from Northampton in 1976, drawn here by the city's reputation as a politically active environment. She moved into an all-lesbian living collective and worked for Red River Women's Press, also a collective. Later, Duff became an astrologer, and has written The Alchemy of Illness, a book about chronic fatigue syndrome. She currently resides in Taos, New Mexico" ("Kat Duff talks about...)
Kat Duff has Uranus (the planet associated with astrology) on her MC (and in aspect to both luminaries), and the Moon (which disposits her Uranus) in square to the 24 Gemini degree where Uranus was discovered. According to Linda Puffer, Kat has a combined M.A. in counseling and education (Moon in Pisces in 6th) and has been in private practice as an astrologer since 1979 (when Progressed Uranus formed the apex of a Yod by quincunxing both her 4th and 6th House cusps). She has hosted a weekly radio spot out of Santa Fe for the past 15 years, and she can be contacted for consultations at HCR 74, Box 22223, El Prado, NM 87529, USA.
