Australian lesbian or bisexual sportswoman regarded as the "sharpest shooter in international women’s hockey" and the "best female hockey player in the world" during the 1990s.

Her extraordinary sporting skills are indicated by the unaspected Jupiter in Aquarius on her Midheaven.

Annan has played for the Australian HockeyRoos and for KleinZwitzerland in Holland. She won an Olympic gold medal in Field Hockey at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

After being married to Argentinian national player Max Caldas she fell in love with Carole Thate, captain of the Dutch hockey team, while at the Sydney Olympics. Annan and Thate had their first child, a son, in May 2007.
